KOV is a high energy camp for children

Why KOV?

Our days are fast paced fun as a variety of methods are used to talk about God’s love and important character values. Kids of Victory is a place where campers and teen leaders experience the best days of their summer. We seek to provide a place of extreme fun so we can come to understand God’s extreme love.

Who can come?

KOV is for everyone! Over 80% of the campers come from outside the host churches. We are a faith based ministry and we reflect the values and commitment to Jesus, His Bible, and a godly lifestyle. KOV is open to children who have completed Kindergarten through 6th grade. A child must have completed Kindergarten and be 6 years old by August 1.

KoV is Growing!

KOV started with 80 campers in 2001, and it just keeps expanding! We’ve added additional weeks to accommodate all the kids that want to come. We added a “Teens Only” week (TOV) in 2014, and in 2016 – KOV began to have camps in 2 locations, the original camp in Crestwood and a new location in Ballwin (KOV-West). Our goal is to get bigger while still maintaining a small camp feel where true friendships are begun and every child is treasured.

We love our teen leaders!

Our teens provide the life and energy of each camp day. Your child will be encouraged, loved, and cheered through every camp activity. KOV’s large staff of adult and teen leaders are amazing and provide dynamic examples of integrity and kindness.

Middle school students learn leadership skills while serving as assistant leaders to their high school mentors. College students give guidance, encouragement and support to our incredible teen leaders.

KOV Directors

Harry & Donna Schroeder

Harry and Donna are part of the pastoral staff at Southgate Church and are known affectionately as the ‘Dean’ and ‘Deannette’ of KOV. This camp was Donna’s dream years before it ever started. They have partnered with the Griffiths to help make camp the best week of every camper’s summer for 20 straight summers.

Tony & Kelly Griffith

Tony and Kelly have been the backbone and inspiration behind KOV! ‘T-Bone’ is a physical education teacher and high school coach. Kelly is a ski-instructor and safety patrol person at Hidden Valley. They have four children. Their two daughters have both experienced every part of camp from young camper, teen leader, intern and adult volunteer. Their two boys have grown up at Kids of Victory. Tony and Kelly live the ‘I’m Third Life’ 24/7.
